Greetings lovely readers! Let me start off my saying that I damn near destroyed my laptop last week.. My own idiocy.. I don’t want to get into it, fixes have been made..she’s working LOL anyways! I heard about this setting powder a long time ago, but never actually got around to trying it. On one of my YouTube videos, I mentioned that I used to use Beneye Banana powder – twas
the night before christmas my holy grail. I had to retire that powder because of the ingredients. I wasn’t a fan of the barbaric amount of parabens it contained.. so we broke up </3. Now THIS POWDER?!! 😥 😥 😥
I’ve been using this powder for about 2 weeks now and I absolutely LOVE it! Where do I begin?
The powder is manufactured in Trinidad and Tobago *cue soca music* #carnivalTabanca, and the company has been around for a while! One thing I loved about the banana powder is that it is yellow (I have a very warm, yellow under tone), so the Buttercup Powder immediately caught my attention a while ago – I just procrastinated to purchase it since I was still heavily involved with my other powder. I purchased it from Amazon.ca for $25 CDN. The powder is finely milled and feels super silky to the touch. I’ve used it to bake and simply to set without baking. It worked beautifully both ways – just don’t overdo the bake. I noticed that after leaving it on for too long, it took a bit more effort to brush away. But nonetheless, this is a powder that is light, illuminates the face and blends away easily.

So far, I absolutely love this powder and NO FLASHBACKS! #yesLord Here are the ingredients: Talc, Mica, Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate, Zinc Stearate, Calcium Carbonate, Iron Oxides, Titanium Dioxide
